Nigeria isn't one culture, it's hundreds sharing a passport. Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Ijaw, Tiv, Edo and so many more, all negotiating space, food, faith and humor every single day. If you've danced to Afrobeats, watched Nollywood, or argued about jollof, you've already met a piece of it. Open any lens below and go deeper.

Roots&Foundations
+
The borders are about a century old. The civilizations are thousands of years older.
Long before Britain drew the map, this land held the Nok terracotta makers, the bronze casters of Igbo-Ukwu and Ife, the royal court of the Benin Kingdom, the Hausa city-states, and the Sokoto Caliphate. Britain merged north and south into one colony in 1914, and everything since has been about learning to live as many histories under one flag.
